The BQS's purpose is to protect, promote and maintain the Quality Assurance in institutions by ensuring proper standards in the practice of Quality Assurance. The international advisory council (IAC) is the governing body of the BQS and is responsible for the overall control of the International organization.

The African Quality Assurance Network (AfriQAN)
The African Quality Assurance Network (AfriQAN) has been set up to provide assistance to institutions concerned with Quality Assurance in higher education in Africa. The network is committed to the enhancement of the quality of higher education and also with collaboration with similar organizations on other continents. The Network has been set up by the Association of African Universities (AAU) with financial support from Global Initiative on Quality Assurance Capacity (GIQAC)/United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

About Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN)
Founded in 2003, the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) is a non-governmental and non-profit network who has been striving for “Enhancing the Quality of Higher Education in the Asia-Pacific Region” and "Dissolving Boundaries for a Quality Region".
After 16-year development, APQN has 222 members from 41 countries and territories, becomes the largest and the most influential international organization on higher education in this Region. ASPA is an association of organizations that evaluate the quality of programs in colleges and universities for more than 100 different professions and specialized disciplines – from nursing to architecture, and physical therapy to engineering.
African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education
In order to manage higher education and scientific research issues in member countries, CAMES has more specific missions to:
Promote and foster understanding and solidarity between Member States;
Establish permanent cultural and scientific cooperation between Member States;
Gather and distribute all academic or research documents: theses, statistics, information on exams, directories, annals, rankings, information on job offers and applications from all origins;
Prepare draft conventions between the states concerned in the fields of higher education and research and contribute to the application of these conventions;
Design and promote consultation with a view to coordinating higher education and research systems in order to harmonize the programs and levels of recruitment in the various higher education and research establishments, promote cooperation between the various institutions, as well as information exchange.
The Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE) was established in 2004 as a sub-network of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
The aims and objectives of CANQATE are compatible with those of INQAAHE whose principal purpose is to “enable members to share information about the maintenance, evaluation, accreditation and improvement of higher education and to disseminate good practices in the field of Quality Assurance”.
Against this background, CANQATE was established primarily as a network of external quality assurance agencies but included government ministries, state agencies, higher education institutions and related entities within the CARICOM region that have an interest in quality assurance capacity building.
CANQATE works to promote capacity building among countries and institutions of higher education and to facilitate regional discourses on policy and research in the fields of quality assurance and quality enhancement whilst engaging policy makers, researchers, evaluators, administrators and faculty in professional development.

⦁ Membership in the Association is open to organisations which are recognised by the authorities of the respective countries as national or regional agencies in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
⦁ In its activity, the agency refers to internationally recognized standards and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education, such as the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG), INQAAHE Guidelines of Good Practice, ECA Code of Good Practice etc.
⦁ EQA processes are performed and decisions taken based on clearly established and published procedures and criteria. Generally, the methodologies should consider site visits and a transparent peer review system. Stakeholders’ involvement in EQA activities should be promoted.

Mission and Aims
The European Alliance for Subject-Specific and Professional Accreditation an Quality Assurance (EASPA) is a non-profit association seeking to provide a platform for the cooperation between the European and international quality assurance networks and international organisations in the development and harmonisation of their activities in the field of quality assurance and quality improvement in higher education. It thus contributes towards the development and implementation of the European Higher Education Area. To this end, EASPA provides a collaborative forum for the community of disciplinary, field specific European networks of quality assurance that assess the quality of study programs, schools or professional individuals.
Services and Projects
The European Consortium for Accreditation offers a range of services to higher education institutions and quality assurance and accreditation agencies. ECA also participates in (EU funded) projects that contribute to the fulfilment of its mission and aims.
ENQA MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) is to drive the development of quality assurance by representing agencies internationally, supporting them nationally, and providing them with comprehensive services and networking opportunities. ENAEE was founded on 8 February 2006, at the end of the first EUR-ACE® project, by 14 European Associations concerned with engineering education.
It stemmed from ESOEPE, the “European Standing Observatory for the Engineering Profession and Education”, that had been established on 9 September 2000 with the purposes of:
building confidence in systems of accreditation of engineering degree programmes within Europe
facilitating exchange of information
developing voluntary agreements on accreditation of engineering educational programmes and recognition of engineering qualifications and
the development of standards for competency requirements of graduate engineers.
Members of ENAEE are agencies and professional organisations with an interest in the education and formation of engineering professionals.
The European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education (EQANIE) is a non-profit association seeking to enhance evaluation and quality assurance of informatics study programmes and education in Europe. It was founded on January 9th, 2009 in Düsseldorf, Germany. It has around a dozen institutional members from countries across Europe. Each institution nominates a representative to the General Assembly, the governing body of EQANIE. The General Assembly appoints members of an Executive Board, responsible for the management of EQANIE activities. The Executive Board appoints a Secretary General who supports these activities.
EQANIE develops criteria and procedures for the evaluation and quality assurance in informatics study programmes and education. Furthermore, it develops and maintains a system for the award of a European quality-label (Euro-Inf) for informatics degree programmes as well as its protection and continued further development. EQANIE provides information about events, activities and publications relevant to quality assurance in informatics education and lists study programmes that have been awarded the Euro-Inf quality label. It maintains contacts and relationships with other European and non-European organisations with similar goals. EQANIE also promotes the development of national and regional accreditation bodies and organises events, seminars, workshops and conferences in its field of activities.
AQAAIW was founded in May 4, 2011 as an association of quality assurance agencies of education and public authorities, responsible for the quality of higher education in the Islamic world. The purpose of AQAAIW is to stimulate and improve the quality of higher education in the Islamic world.
Mission and Values
Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education was launched in the 1st International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, December 18-19 2017 organized by Khyber Medical University at Peshawar.
In the conference, Quality Enhancement Cell of KMU proposed Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education to provide a platform to QECs of Pakistani HEIs which are established in 170 Universities. The proposal was accepted by almost all the participants from national and international HEIs.
Therefore all the members of the conference were nominated as full members of PNQAHE and interim committee was constituted for the voting process of executive committee of the network. The executive committee was constituted on September 27, 2018 and nomination of other positions of the board was also finalized on the same day.
INQAAHE is a QA community, with shared interests, a common language and an understanding of how things are done with regard to a very specific field of work. It provides a forum for the discussion of global issues that go beyond national or regional boundaries, such as cross border education.
Members have the opportunity to learn from what others are doing, both from their successes and their failures, and thus have now set the ground for the development of a QA profession.
